MIDDLE SCHOOL OF THE KENNEBUNKS
I am currently teaching digital and fine art at MSK. Projects include ceramic bobbleheads, paper portraits, prints, paper mache sculptures, collages, shadow boxes, face bowls, digital hybrids, cereal boxes, and cartoon illustrations.
CAPE ELIZABETH HIGH SCHOOL
During my several weeks at CEHS, I taught some tried-and-true favorites (clay projects), stepped back into past experiences (the dark room), and made new discoveries (charcoal techniques).
FALMOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL
I enjoyed teaching units to all three grades at Falmouth Middle School including lessons in watercolor landscapes, ceramic teapots, grid-method drawings, and Basquiat-Inspired self portraits.
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
I taught art at Waynflete Summer Camp and in the summer workshops at both LearningWorks and Centerpoint Martial Arts.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
As part of the MECA+D masters program, I taught art lessons to children after school at Waynflete in Portland and Brown Elementary in South Portland.
MUSEUM EDUCATION
I taught interactive lessons to a group of high schoolers at the Institute of Contemporary Art and to a group of middle schoolers at the Portland Museum of Art.
