SCARBOROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL

I am currently teaching art to sixth and seventh graders at Scarborough Middle School. Projects include cardboard sculptures, printmaking storybooks, grid-method portraits, watercolor landscapes, sewing/embroidery critters, and active human sculptures.

MIDDLE SCHOOL OF THE KENNEBUNKS

For three years, I taught digital and fine art at MSK. Projects included ceramic bobbleheads, value portraits, paper mache sculptures, collages, shadow boxes, ceramic face bowls, digital hybrids, cereal boxes, and cartoon illustrations.

CAPE ELIZABETH HIGH SCHOOL

During my several weeks at CEHS, I taught some tried-and-true favorites (clay projects), stepped back into past experiences (the dark room), and made new discoveries (charcoal techniques).

FALMOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL

I enjoyed teaching units to all three grades at Falmouth Middle School including lessons in watercolor, ceramic teapots, grid-method drawing, and Basquiat-Inspired portraits.

AFTER SCHOOL + SUMMER PROGRAMS

Over the years, I have taught art lessons to children in Portland-area camps and after school programs, including Waynflete, East End Community School, and Brown Elementary.

MUSEUM EDUCATION

I taught interactive lessons to a group of high schoolers at the Institute of Contemporary Art and to a group of middle schoolers at the Portland Museum of Art.
