NEW ENGLAND LEAGUE OF MIDDLE SCHOOLS (NELMS)
My principal at Middle School of the Kennebunks nominated me for the NELMS award that honors educators in their first three years of teaching. I was very grateful to be recognized at the ceremony in Springfield, MA last March.

I am extremely honored to be named the 2025 New to the Profession Teacher the Year. This award is especially meaningful to me because it comes from the MAEA, an organization that is doing so many great things for art education in Maine.
2025 State Newsletter of the Year
NATIONAL ART EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (NAEA)
I am the editor of the MAEA Newsletter Mixed Media, which won the NAEA’s Newsletter of the Year award for organizations with fewer than 150 members. I was thrilled to attend the national delegates meeting in Louisville to receive the certificate in person.
